College roadshow to offer scholarships, special rebates

 KUCHING – The two-week long SEGi College roadshow in Sarawak will offer scholarships and special rebates to this year’s SPM holder apart from giving them a wide range of choice of Diploma and Degree programmes.

The straight A scorers will have the most to gain as the college offers full and partial scholarships to these high achievers.

“Students can also gain a RM500 rebate for every A they scored in their SPM results”

“This means that if they managed three distinctions, they can qualify for RM1500 rebate. The more A’s they have, the bigger the rebate,” said the Principal of SEGi College Sarawak, Madam Elina Tiu.

“In addition, SPM students need only to pay only RM500 to start their degree programme at SEGi College Sarawak as most of the degree or diploma programmes can be fully covered by any of the two government loans.”

“SEGi makes it affordable to study and students can rest assured that they will be employability at the end of their course as there is a high demand for SEGi graduates.”

For Sarawak edition, the SEGi roadshow will kick-off at Premiere Hotel Sibu on February 18 from 10am to 2pm, then moving on to Meligai Keling Kapit (February 19, 10am to 1pm), Pejabat Daerah Kanowit (February 20, 10am to 2pm), Dewan Masyarakat Serian (February 20, 10am to 2pm), Ming Kiong Hotel Bintangor (February 21, 10am to 3pm) and Pejabat Daerah Asajaya (February 21, 10am to 1pm).

The next stop will be in Dragon Inn Sarikei (February 22, 10am to 3pm), Dewan Suarah Kota Samarahan (February 22, 10am to 2pm), Majlis Daerah Bau (February 23, 10am to 2pm), Purnama Hotel Limbang (February 24, 10am to 1pm), Grand Hotel Marudi (February 25, 10am to 1pm), RH Hotel Sibu (February 25, 10am to 3pm)Shangsan Hotel Lawas (February 26, 10am to 1pm), Imperial Hotel Miri (February 27, 10am to 4pm), and lastly Kemena Plaza Hotel Bintulu (February 28, 10am to 3pm).
