Gawai in the City

Last Friday (6th July 2012), SEGi College Sarawak participated in the "Gawai in the City" event held in New Wing, Boulevard Shopping Mall, Kuching. This event was organized by AZAM Sarawak.

AZAM Sarawak stands for Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM) which means a "Movement for Progress" is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation which seeks to facilitate development efforts in Sarawak through promoting development communication.

The program started from 5pm and end at 9.30pm.

Tomorrow's Leader Event

Speaker explaining on misuse of drug to students

Kuching: A program called Tomorrow's Leader was held in SEGi College Sarawak on the 15th June 2012 (Friday) was to deliver knowledge, understanding and create awareness among youth. This program was mean to educate young adult regarding the term behind misuse of drug and how to avoid such behaviour.

This is the strategy from National Anti-Drug Agency to reduce demand reduction and supply reduction of drugs in order to create Drug-free Family, Drug-free Education Institution, Drug-free work place and Drug-free Community/Area. I was a very good and educational event.

SEGi Food Carnival

SEGi Food Carnival was held yesterday at the theatrette from 9am-5pm. This event was organized by SEGi College Sarawak's Student Council. Many came to taste various types of delicious foods, drinks and desserts whether it is home-made or not but overall it was absolutely delicious and happening.
