NEW OPTIONS… SEGi laboratories have all the equipment and facilities ensuring that students pursuing science subjects in either the A-Level or Foundation in Science will have ample opportunities to excel.
KUCHING: Students planning to pursue their A-Level in the Science stream will now be able to gain an additional qualification – the government recognised Foundation in Science.
This will significantly open up more career avenues for graduates to explore as SEGi’s Foundation in Science is linked to its Medicine, Surgery, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Engineering programmes.
The Foundation in Science is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
“SEGi is offering the A-Level programme in Science with the dual qualification option to enhance the career pathways and open up the world of opportunities for our students to a variety of occupations,” said SEGi College Sarawak Principal Stella Lau.
The college has several laboratories which can easily accommodate up to 25 students per class.
The SEGi Group has over two decades of experience in conducting the A-Level programme offering both Science and Humanities subjects and has produced countless successful graduates, many of whom have continued into degree programmes with SEGi or with universities worldwide.
Lau pointed out that SEGi offered a myriad of courses and students had the option of choosing to complete their degrees locally or with top-notch internationally renowned universities in Australia, UK and USA.
“We are offering A-Level and Foundation in Science subjects like Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics,” she said.
“SEGi College Sarawak has always been known for its A-Level programme, linking SPM school leavers to the Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree programme from the University of London, UK.”
This is a strong testament as SEGi College Sarawak is committed to delivering quality education to the next generation of leaders.
