SEGi College Sarawak’s law students in action

KUCHING: SEGi College Sarawak’s law students are in action right after the launching of SEGi College Sarawak Moot Court last June 2012.

The ability to conduct mock court sessions in SEGi College Sarawak Moot Court has given law students exposure to and a different perspective of a court session environment outside of the normal classroom setting. Having this facility will encourage law students to train their skills and enhance their knowledge in the law field.

“Having facilities such as a Moot Court will help the students to familiarise themselves with the actual workplace environment that is needed in the law field,” said Madam Elina Tiu, Principal of SEGi College Sarawak.

“Upon graduation, our students will have already benefited from a platform whereby they experience real-life court sessions and the environment of law and justice”, added Tiu.

SEGi College Sarawak has successful collaborations with 3 renowned international partner universities which are University of London (UOL) United Kingdom, Northumbria University (NU) United Kingdom and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Australia for their Law programmes.

UOL is a world renowned provider for legal education with more than 19,000 students in over 130 countries. SEGi is a Registered Centre for UOL international programmes.
